Industrial nuts and bolts are difficult to protect because of their odd shapes and restricted accessibility Fluorocarbon coating is an alternative but this too is inadequate as it cannot prevent mechanical damage.

Corro Caps possess ideal characteristics that make them the first choice in nut and bolt protection.

They incorporate a unique one-way valve that allows air ,water and excess inhibitors to escape creating a near vacuum seal thereby maintaining the protected nuts and bolts in a non-corrosive environment.

Installation is easy as they just press on . They are mode of durable rubber and have been designed and manufactured to meet the inherent harsh conditions of offshore environments. It can withstand heat ageing up to 95°C ( or more upon special request) and is excellent against ozone and oxidation environmental factors.

Corrosion between the faces of pipe flanges causes early paint failure and can compromise flange integrity.

Current methods (Flange Protectors,Caulking &tapes) are only short term measures. For long term solutions, FlangeShield System is the answer.

It is impossible to achieve good surface preparation on flanges which are inaccessible to the blast medium. It is not uncommon to find residual blasting sand or grit lodged between the fasteners and the flange body, or up inside the bolt hole annuli. This grit acts like a sponge to retain water inside the flange and thus promotes rapid failure of the applied paint system.

The use of tapes alone does not prevent galvanic corrosion from taking place and very often these have a limited life and require replacement.

Riser Clamps require frequent inspection, replacement of nut ,bolts ,clamps ,and neoprene pads due to splash zone corrosion. In extreme cases parts of risers have to be cut and replaced. The neoprene pads, placed between the clamps to prevent metal to metal contact. trap moisture and force the paint designed for splash zone condition to work in submerged conditions resulting in premature coating failure.Progressive failure of coating is not only economically impacting but can compromise riser integrity.

The RiserClampShield offers cost effective long term protection. nuts and Bolts are protected using CorroCaps. Voids and crevices are filled using the FlangeShield System.

EnviroShield plus is an environmentally friendly ,re-useable , strippable , plastic coating designed specifically for use in areas of cryogenic and high ambient temperatures. It provides a tough, flexible, abrasion resistant clear coating to provide a corrosion free environment .It produces a free flowing material, which fill spaces leaving no voids or entrapped air on protected areas. It will provide long-term protection in excess of ten years against corrosion when used in conjunction with Corro-Cillin corrosion control system.

APPLICATION: Flanges,J-tubes,Under Pipe Saddle Clamps, mothballed equipment and stand-by equipment for transit and storage.

SURFACE PREPARATION:EnviroShield Plus requires no surface preparation .It is recommended that loose corrosion products or scale be removed prior to application. As with any coating system ,a well prepared surface will enhance the performance of EnviroShield Plus.

Fibaroll is a unique form of Fiber Reinforced Plastic “FRP” in an easy to use system delivered on rolls 45-600 mm. Wide and 0.080-2mm thick .Fibaroll can be applied to almost any surface on steel piping , it is resistant to abrasion , high temperature and corrosion . It allows easy visual and NDT inspection of the condition of the pipe .

Fibaroll has excellent mechanical properties , adhesion to steel , chemical and temperature resistance and UV performance. The system is specified and used by some of the leading international Oil and Gas Compnies in the following applications :

Underground pipes m pipe support areas , riser pipes , pipe reinforcement and weld protection .

Prelite insulation sectionals in the form of pipe covers and boards consist of expended Perlite powder bound together by an inorganic binder ( sodium silicate ) and reinforcing fiber .Completely non-flammable, they are widely use as insulation for heated equipment , vessel and piping.

The major advantages that Perlite insulation sectional have over 2 main competitors calcium silicate and rock wool are :-

Corrosion Resistance
Perlite insulation sectional have a high sodium silicate-to-chloride ratio . Sodium silicate is a corrosion-inhibitor , which limits the corrosive effects of soluble chlorides . The water-repellent nature of Perlite prevent the entry of soluble chloride into the system . Thus it helps avoid unnecessary shutdowns and loss of production hours at refineries , petrochemical and power plant cause by corrosion of piping , fittings and vessels .

Water repellence
The extremely water repellent nature of Perlite insulation sectional means that they retain their low thermal conductivity factor even when there is water ingress into the system . Calcium silicate and rock wool on the other hand have very high water absorption factor resulting in loss of their insulation properties and an increase in the operational cost of plant .

Acid/Alkali Resistant
Because of its very low acid and alkali absorption factors , Perlite does not deteriorate when in contact with either of these corrosive substances .

Crevice corrosion at pipe supports in one pf the major causes of external corrosion failure and premature paint failure on piping systems . Typical pipe support system use neoprene pads between pipe and support . This causes a tight crevice to be formed between pipe and support . This Crevice attracts and retrains moisture through capitally action . The Paint designed for atmospheric use finds itself in immersion use and soon soften and fails . This results in localized crevice corrosion and progressive paint failure . Standard pipe rack supports are difficult to access and suffer from similar defects .

The Nu-Bolt consists of a neoprene or heat shrunk plastic sleeve bonded to the metal to prevent damage on coatings and metal to metal contact during installation . Nu-Rods are made from specially hardened engineering plastics designed and shaped to ensure minimal point contact . The Nu-Rods are UV stable and have high compressive strength and will not deform under point loads .
Nu-Bolts and Nu-Rods are the proven solution to the problem . The support is inspectable , The Crevice is eliminated and the water kept off the pipe adding years to paint system life and thereby deferring maintenance .

The Impactor is modular and can easily be configured to suit different dimensions and shapes . The up and down and side-ways movement caused by the wave and current action cause the impact force necessary to clean the marine growth . It has been designed and built with safety as top priority without compromising on efficiency and effectiveness . It will not cause any damage whatsoever to protective coating .

The Impactor design incorporates The following features :
Allows the level of immersion and height above the water line to be controlled .
Allow the Impactor force to be controlled by adjusting the circumference of the connecting cable .

Marine growth prevention relies on breaking down the marine colonisation process. The continuous rubbing action on the members produced by the rubber rollers prevents the formation of microbial slime, the food source for marine or organisms. By denying the marine growth the essential nutrients for breeding, the Pile Protectors are able to maintain a' zero growth' profile on the protected numbers.

This is particularly critical in the splash zone areas as cathodic protection systems are ineffective.

This enables operators to comply with regulations ,visually inspect the areas and carry out action if required.
